58km Start time: 10:00 am
Our 58K gives you the opportunity to ski one of the longest one-day marathon races in the country. And the course, with its rolling, wooded countryside, is also one of the fastest.
The first North American male and female finishers in the 58K race will receive a free trip to the Swedish Vasaloppet ski race or $1,000.

Vasaloppet Relay Start time: 10:00 a.m.
Teamwork is the key of the Vasaloppet Relay Race. The five team members must decide which members will ski a 14K, 13K, 15K, 9K, or 7K distances along the Vasaloppet 58K course and plan their strategy of driving to each of the skier exchange points. The race begins at 10 a.m. in a mass start along with the 58K and 35K and finishes in downtown Mora.

42K Classic Start time: 9:00 a.m.
This race is for classic style skiers only, who begin their race one hour before the freestyle 35K and 58K races.
Skiers participating in the 42K Classic will begin at the starting area, then traverse a trail that is filled with hills, curves and woods. The 42K then rejoins the 35K to the finish line in downtown Mora.

35K Start time: 10:00 a.m.
After a mass start north of Mora, the 35K and 58K split. From there, they ski their way south through forests and meadows. The 35K race attracts competitive skiers
as well as recreational skiers seeking the thrill of the Vasaloppet and the downtown finish.

13K Start time: 12:30 p.m.
The 13K is perfect for skiers who enjoy skiing shorter distances. The 13km features official timing of all skiers and the excitement of crossing the downtown finish line. The race begins at 12:30 p.m. at Knife Lake and follows the 35km and 42km course.

Eldris Sprints 1K Start time: 11:00 a.m.
Watch the excitement of these high-speed races as top skiers face off on a 1K course at the Vasaloppet
Nordic Center and on adjacent Eldris community trails. Contact the race office for registration information for both classes.

The Miniloppet Start time: 1:00 p.m.
The Miniloppet, held on Saturday afternoon, offers children 13 years old and younger
a chance to participate in the excitement of skiing a 1.5K, 4K or 7K course and
cross the finish line in downtown Mora. They will hear the ringing of the bells
in the bell tower signaling the finish is near. All skiers receive completion medals.

Friday, February 10

The Friendship Tour Start time: 7 p.m.
No registration required, free to all. Participating in the Friendship Tour on Friday evening offers families and touring skiers an opportunity to experience the Vasaloppet without racing in one of the five Sunday events.
The 2K Friendship Tour (about one mile) begins at 7 p.m. at the Vasaloppet Nordic Center and ends at the gazebo in the city's Library Park.
After a music-filled start at the Nordic Center, skiers will be guided by lanternlight to Mora Lake. At the shore of Lake Mora candlelight will illuminate the trail across the lake and up the hill past the Belltower and to the finish.
Snacks, hot chocolate, warm blueberry sport drink will be served at the finish.
